i've ridden that as well, apparently the exit is a bit of a mystery. did you hike back up the powerlines back to goldmine? that's what i did, it was brutal and not to be repeated.

You can keep going past the power lines which traverses to the main road up. There are some ladder bridges built up in there to make your life easy.

It is safe to say use caution when you ride any trail the begins or ends at the powerlines. BC Hydro is twinning the 250 km line, and part of that runs right through the Woodlot. Very few trails are affected, but be prepared for logging slash, new roads and road building all around the the work area for the forseeable future.

It looked so simple on the gutsploder map lol. I didnt head back up to the powerlines but went South on a trail that looks like it hadnt seen traffic for a while and took me to the access road at the exit of quick hit, pretty sure.

rode again tonite as well , did upper Toad , Giant , Bloggy and Shotgun , same shit different day LOL , oh ya looks like some 4X4 guys have been moving the barriers to get access to the hill , someone has moved the big concrete barrier and some of the rocks so they can get around them and up the hill .

I was the first one in the lot and it was all normal yesterday (Saturday) morning. I just don't see this happening during a busy Saturday. Are you sure?

we got there around 5:00ish and there was only a couple cars there , i have been hiking and riding there up too 3 times a week since mid july and there has never been more then 3 to 4 cars in the parking lot , IMO the hill is really quite when compared to back in the day when Jamie , Chris and Billy where building the trails back in the 90,s and early 2000,s .

Weird, must have been quite an operation. I haven't seen a 4x4 in there since those were put in place. What fun can it be wrecking your truck up Dogshit hill just to ride on nice gravel roads anyway? A message will be sent to see if the logging contractor can put them back.

for some of those crawlers Dogshit hill will be like a paved road , i think they want to gain access to Stave from a different approach , one of the my neighbors rides his quads and another takes his Rhino up there , they usually get in from Mcnutt road but maybe there are others looking for another route .

speaking of quads there was a guy on a dirtbike and another on a quad blasting around on the roads the other week when we where riding , we where at the end of Bloggy/start of Shotgun and they cam blasting by us , and then when we where hiking up past the powerlines there where guys riding the trails on there dirtbikes

Idiot dirt bikers trying to go up Goldmine again today. I mentioned to them it was in fact a mtb trail and not to be ridden on dirtbikes. They were stuck when i saw them and seemed to be struggling the whole way. That trail is a real mess and could use a day of raking
