Help support a bike skills park in Sooke

Please help the Sooke bike club, and the bikers of Sooke by writing a letter to our mayor
and council at the above link. We are trying to build a bike park skills center in our
little town.

Dear Mayor an Council,

Sooke isn't the asshole of the province, it's the taint. Oh - and you need a bike park.

Awesome stuff Zed.

In Squamish there was just a submission to Council for a skills park. Perhaps you could glean some info from SORCA about how they approached the matter.

MTB development could be greatly advanced if groups in different towns shared information and tactics about the way deal with matters such as trying to get Town Council to approve a skills park. I'm sure there is already some networking going on, but just a thought.

Letter sent. Mostly out of sympathy for having Sookie Sam as your mascot...sort of a ghetto-version Mr. PG.
Really though, as an island boy, I say Sooke rocks (or was it "Sooke Rules"? can't remember which it was the Edward Milne boys used to say as they stepped on my head on the rugby pitch), add more MTB to the potholes, surf, and hiking, and I'd consider living there fer sure.
