So...expect to be chastised on the NSMB boards!

Cheers Ben

Was riding in the Diamondhead area yesterday.
It has been a while since I've ridden in this zone.

The access trail/road to Powersmart has a large tree down on it. Too big of a tree for my pack saw.
Powersmart is definitely worse for wear! Kinda like riding a dry creek bed with all those loose baby head rocks!
Out of curiosity, is this trail being forgotten about for the forest to have or is it just really far down on the maintenance list?

Pseudo Tsuga has been nicely reworked! Nice and fast! The last time I rode that it was quite blown out.(I might be mixing my memory up with another trail in the vicinity)
And, Your Mom is a fun trail. I just found out about it. Well worth the short hike-a-bike to ride it.

We also picked up 2 Trail Passes again this year to add a small bit of help with the great upkeep and building that is happening in Squamish!

Powersmart is fall-line and can't be helped. Fair bit of work went into it a few years back and it's thundered. Best to let it erode down to volcanic hard-pan at this point.

Any word on the logging in the Mashiter Creek area. I wanted to take the boy for a ride down the corners and over to roller coaster. Is this possible right now?

Angry midget might be my favorite trail anywhere. Finally rode it today for the first time this year, outrageously fun. I don't entirely hate the work the trail crew did on it either, though I'll be making some minor amendments when the rains come. The mid-trail reroute has matured nicely.

Deliverance seems to have fallen out of favor. Funny how "old school" it feels now. The woodwork is on its last legs, then I suspect it may be entirely abandoned.
Finally rode the climbing trail too, much nicer than the dusty road.
Squamish is on fire!

The last section of word of mouth has a huge black bear feasting on berries. I managed to bail on a gravel road to the uni.

yeah, that's a new feature some kids put in. There's talk of the black bear feature getting moved by snow fall.

Not a chance. It gets ridden and will not be abandoned, it just grows over fast lower down and I'll get up there soon and do some trimming. There are many riders that still enjoy this trail.

Trails are pretty dry in most spots. Cakewalk was tough due to a lot of the dirt basically being powder. Some ladders have missing rungs, but generally okay. Pseudo Tsuga was pretty good along with the 19th hole, P-Nuts Wild Ride & Grin n' Holler. When/if the September rains come, the trails should be prime. Thanks to all the trail builders.
