we ran into a guy on the way down on the road between babylon and Kyber Pass.

Flew in from Chicago the night before, headed up, followed some other guys, crashed on Kyber Pass, lost the guys he was following, made his way to the road and had NOOO idea where he was...

While its defiantly best to meet someone who knows their way, Kyber & Babylon are in the "Whistler Mountain Bike Guide Book" you can buy for $20 at most bike shops in Whistler or online

I thought $15 was a bargain considering the hikers pay $50 and don't have the opportunity to ride a bike down. The view was incredible and I quite enjoyed the trail down. Very little road section in-between the single track and RDS. I had a great time and will definitely do it again! Probably make it a once a year thing.

LOL the Khyber has been on a map in 103 Hikes in SW BC since 1973! Same trail, just a little more clearcutting where you come out since then.

Yeah I rode it today. First day in the Park for the year, and I figured from some of the bitching that the trail would be Easy Does It but a bit higher, so decided the Peak Trail down would be a good warm up lap! Maybe it's got chundered and grown over the months but it certainly wasn't a ummm walk in the Park. Wicked views, a few tricky moves with consequence to wake me up and yeah there was plenty of fireroad below RDS but so what. Way more singletrack than I thought there'd be.

Isn't $15.00 the price of a shit burger in Whistler anyway?

Liked the trail on the big bike. I would have been shaken to death on the air sprung all mtn bike. Not that my float has much spring going on!

This $15 is on top of a bike park ticket price, is it not?

I've done it on both a DH rig and a XC bike (finishing on RDS and Khyber) and had a blast. I thought it was a great adventure both times and worth the extra $15 (just so I could be lazy for a change and not pedal/push my bike up the mountain to ride the additional trails!)

Plus the views do not suck

You are correct. Worth the $15 dollars extra then.

Skip the pay parking, ride the extra distance with your head down, find a toonie. Ride the top of the world.

Bring food/beverages from home instead of buying them from a bar. Ride the top of the world

Run really high PSI and avoid flats. After avoiding three you can ride the top of the world.

Drive a friend up to Whistler and ask him to split the gas. Ride the top of the world.
