yeah amazing ride, its going to be a long sunday!
we actually got the peak chair up to the top so missed out the fire road climb up to the top.
I hope we get a wee bit of rain the week before.

As David said we took the Peak chair. But there is nothing stopping you from just riding up Pika's Traverse. It's pretty casual up there. Just don't make a wrong turn to Symphony.
I'm fairly sure that's what we're doing race day.
You could always ask permission, but I find it's easier to ask forgiveness.

Here is what MrsGurstin, Shirk, Biggles604 rode:

• Rebob (hopefully we got it right this time)
• Get over it
• Random route through Mel's to Alpine (I think we ended at the right spot)
• Random route through Alpine to Delineator
• Delineator
• End of Shit Happens
• Down the end of Anal Intruder to White Knuckles
• Up Creamsicle Rainbow/Shit Happens to Big Kahuna
• Big Kahuna from West to East
• Up gravel road to 102
• Up 102 to the Azreal Junction at the top of the climb (Tony's last email didn't mention Pump track any more)
• We started going down Azreal to the West and quickly realized that was wrong so had lunch
• We rode Azreal to the east, which I'm 99% sure is wrong, we should have descended 102 as we ended up at the top of Cougar and then rode down the road (boring after all that climbing)

The we finished it off with a bit of DitD.

after big kahuna pedal back up road but go left toward shit happens. azreal starts on your right at fallen log step-up, follow that past the pumptrack, past bottom of gargamel, all the way to near the crest of 102. its a lot less taxing than doing all of 102. stage is from there "down" 102 to cougar road.

foreplay is rougher than i remember, good luck with pinner tires there. last time i rode it i was riding a magic (mushroom) carpet, didn't notice how nasty it is at speed. where does that stage end, by the way?

yeah foreplay is rough. i really want some dh tires without the weight penalty.
i think i remember reading somewhere it finished out on polers road, where CN finishes...

Road the Pikas climb today. shit is tough. then did some multiple laps of TOTW, KP, babylon (fuck me im glad this isnt part of the race, especially the last part, would fall happily into second worst trail in whistler behind only Trash.) then business time/ampm. felt pretty rad to be catching guys on big bikes on my little bike down TOTW.

Thanks Clark, looks like we picked the worse of the two options I got confused with the Pump Track-102-Azreal in the original posting. I guess training on a harder climb did us good
