Dam what's the world coming to.
Anyone who hasn't rode Ledgeview lately,it's not all rotting and filled with crap.
Lots of the big jumps have been redone,safer and better trannies etc.. mostly all cedar too.
The whole S.side has also been as Dorse and friends have noted redone, so much fun.
Those who still crave XC pain,it's still there, or take a couple flowing bypasses.
The Pain/Less route or "more/less" and the "easier option" on the death chute,your choice.
Last ride Stillgoing and I ripped the S. side ,and I almost made the whole Ambi anticlockwise.
Dam that last 40ft. In wet weather no part of Ledge is better, the S. exposure with sandy soil makes this side the best. Sitting under the boogieMan cliffs or climbing back up lower ambi,it's just all too much fun. I am always amazed at how many riders don't know this part of the mtn.
Even a big bike could see the fun here,though it's really a allmtb terrain,still a few years back.
I rode it on my pigbike and though breathing way too hard had fun.
BigSumas the EmmaPeel redo is through,not finished but rideable.
Logging wiped out the whole exit ,but once it dries more ,we can really buff it up.
The view is now stellar up there.
Looking down on the new parking area with Kiosk(maps to come) and pit toilet,(matchs the new upper one now) Should be a good summer on Sumas.
FVMBA toonie race tomorrow sunday April 1st really.

Starting to put in work on the duck farm loop.
yesterday we put in a new bridge over a ravine and stablized the bank onto it.
Bigpix wise we are going to try and keep the skinnies if possible.
The particular section had a disecting ravine and a sloping bank.
We were happy with the upgrade.
There are a number of other bridges which are a little shaky and we are going to give the love to them.
Been riding this loop a lot lately and while the lines are great the bridge work needed attention.
We did contact the builder and told him of our plans generally, he seems ok with it.

Chadsey man, rode it last week. sweeeet.
We need to get in there and take out the blowdown.
Lower section with the new bridge was nice and mostly rideable,but getting overgrown.

Kim What trail are you thinking about for the night ride? I'd like to ride but Knob and the Sauces might be too much for me right now, as I have not been riding and instead, working most of the summer. I did Knob and the Sauces yesterday but it took me three hours up and down.

Kim 7:30 sounds great. I got my lights on and working. riding up in the dark is great it will give me a chance to adjust my beams. And a short climb to squid line will be great for my out of shape body.

Any all mtn/ epic trails/loops out here? 15km or more? Looked at the elk thurston mercer. just wondering if there was anything else?

By epic, do you mean alpine or just something longer than 15km? A two lap run of Sumas can be pretty sweet. (Chadsey 1st lap, Knobgoggler/Holiday Sauce/Extra Sauce/Emma Peel 2nd lap)
