yes. yes. ??

rode it today for first time, thought it was awesome. good line through tricky terrain, incredible views, fun on 6" bike. corners are tight but round and easy enough to hold speed. nice to have some legal alpine riding finally, look forward to the rest of the trail.

So I made a lovely top to bottom pov edit on Top of the World. Where to upload? Tried Vimeo, but after 38 hours the upload failed...

rode it a couple times yesterday for enduro training, i think it's a good addition, although personally I'm not sure I agree with the extra $15, I kind of feel like it's a bit nickel and dimey to do that....I can understand a rider cap up there per day, and maybe an extra 5 bucks, I dunno.....the trail though was super fun, views amazing, and when more of the sections of trail open up it'll be even better.

Rode it today to get away from the crowds. Gorgeous views. Initial part of the trail is fun, but not really a double black. More like a blue/black and made for an all mountain bike. Big bikes are overkill.

Went down khyber, Babylon, tunnel vision. Not the most fun on a big bike. Actually, pretty crappy on the big bike. It has been years since i rode kyber and if I was to do the top of the world and khyber again, it would be on a small bike.

TOTW Trail is now about 3.5km long. We talked to some people who were at the top and they were just stoked to be in such a cool place. Most people don't have such access to the alpine.

I finally got around to riding this trail last Saturday. Its defiantly beautiful and fun, but not something I would do on a regular basis, much better trails around. It was also super dry powdery dust. I hope they create some more trail through the forest at the bottom to avoid the road.

I had never been up to the peak in the summer, so it was fun seeing all the ski lines without snow. The tourists seem to really like it, had at least 4 people comment about riding bikes down from there.

Here is some raw pov video of the entire trail.

Not sure how many times I'd cough up $15 to ride the trail but the trail they have cut is super fun. Very exciting when you're pinning it on a big bike. Definitely worth doing once, even if just for the amazing views.

edit:

Only about 1/3 of the trail seems done. Still lots of time on HWY 86. When it's completely finished, it will be pretty sick.

So can I take my dog on it? LOLETC.....

I'd pay 15 bucks just to ride from the top down the fireroads occasionally to be honest. I've done it before and it was a good laugh so having singletrack is just a bonus.

So I take it from the photos that youdon't need a full face helmet to ride Top Of The World? Can someone confirm please?

I want to take my massive stroller up there and park it on the trail while I look arond.

Cheers Ben

Great views - short trail

$15 is worth the trip.

or if he isn't OK with them, i don't see why you couldn't just link up the Khyber and lower trails off it.

finally got to ride it today... it's awesome although it could use some rain super loose dusty sections for sure. It's not easy either, not double black but I think single black is a good rating same level as upper angry pirate with some tight rocky corners with exposure in the first part. Not sure if there's newer sections open or what but I didn't spend that much time on hwy 86 at all. Fun on a big bike, friend was on an enduro and it seemed fun too... fun all around I'm not gunna mind forking out $15 to ride that every once in awhile.
