came off round that berm at the bottom. got off suprisingly lightly, few scrapes, bit of gravel rash.

snapped pedal, nice new dent in the frame, frame flexed 20mm into crank. other than that, good to go.

So true.
The things we used to do with 3.5" of rear suspension were awesome. And the rake when someone would put a Shiver on their VPS..... they looked like choppers

RIP to my old Red and White VPS, updated in 04' with a safety yellow powdercoat.
It served me well, until it hit a tree on Seymour and snapped in half.

Those old Shiver DC's were the bomb! You can still see a few around from time to time.

Always seems to be an odd bit of the trail. There's nothing on it. You could squeeze a lot of good jumps and berms in there.

Its a straight chute, hard to throw some berms on that one.

They could add burms to the two sections with turns. The last part of this section does have a small burm, and I use every inch of it coming out of there.

A jump would be suicide in that section though.

Well yeah but you could have some berms on the chute then jumps on the straight after where the berm/netting is currently.
