That's all I've got, but it might be worth contacting them. I'm on the mailing list for the day I say fuck it all and leave.

I would recommend times new roman in bold when writing that on your resume.

Also, when posing with the impoverished child wearing a "vancouver canucks 2011 stanley cup champions" t-shirt, I would recommend making that your profile picture on Facebook - chicks dig that sort of stuff.

Lastly, make sure the school you are building has a lightning rod on the roof that is properly grounded. Many structures with corrugated steel roofs and walls attract lightning. Perhaps use corrugated cardboard for the roof and walls instead to save money. It doesnt rain in Africa anyways...

If your into the Himalayas I did some volunteering in Kathmandu at an orphanage. I think they want a three month commitment now though so it may not be what you want.

Since I got the time but not so much money I look at the voly thing as free living & maybe even a real benifit other than expenses

course work at the world cup & olympics paid for 6 weeks in whistler everything but dinner and of course the 1K I spent on buying gear

fish biologist assistant got me all expenses paid on a 38'sail boat running the tender

free food & addmission at music festivals and you become part of the scene

the recent Voly work at Burnie lodge made things happen that the guide could never do himself OR afford to pay for so some locals will get half price ski weeks

I have friends who did CUSO stints back in the day as doctors ,forestors , surveyors and straight out of uni they got to do things they wouldn't have back home, they don't really seem to be people motivated by money
