The 55r is comparable with something like a Domain IMO, so a secondhand Lyrik in good shape would be the better choice of those two. Doubt many people will want to part with their 55 RC3 tis...

Glad I'm not the only one!

Is it really that hard to offer them in Black as well? Same with Fox and their Floats. I know it's not really important, but when you're spending the amount that forks cost these days, it would be nice if it matched the rest of your bike.

Thanks for that. I had a Domain for a short while and it felt smooth but also like it had a bit of stiction and the small bump sensitivity was shit. Honestly my air Pike feels way better than the Domain did. Think it may have had something to do with me being inbetween spring weights though.

Reviving this one as i am considering a nee marz fork for upcoming build.
I love the way my old rc3 ti feels. Does anyone know anything about the 2013 55 cr? It looks very nice but not sure about the air sprung marz forks. Will I be disappointed going from rc3 ti to a cr for trail/enduro riding?

From what I understand, the CR damper is essentially an inverted RC3 cartridge that is a semi open bath. It has a shimmed compression circuit, and the same rebound piston as the V.1 EVO RC3. Alex at Marz Canada said he was/is running the 888 CR and really liked it.

I have a 2012 66 CR on an Enduro Evo and a 2010 44 RC3 Ti on an Element MSL.
The 66 CR runs just as smooth and active as the 44. I'm pretty happy with it.
It feels much better than the 36 Van R that it replaced.

I run a 55CR and it seems ok so far.

I asked about upgrading to an RC3 damper and got the response that the main difference in feel would be that the RC3 damper offered more compression damping than the CR.

FWIW.

Has anyone gone from a TST Micro damper to an RC3 EVO? I'm trying out a 55 Switch TA right now. It's been great, but I'm just curious to see what the difference would be, and if it would be worth the upgrade...?
