I thought we'd all agreed that 29 is dead and 650b is the way forward?

great article and good to see Banshee in the news again on NSMB.com

this article is informative and goes to show a small window of the huge efforts that go into frame design and fabrication, its not easy as I found out in the 90s when I was in the same role as an industrial designer with my own company Bombproof Bikes

I've spoken to Keith from Banshee a couple of times recently, and its great things are on the up and up with the new ball bearing virtual pivot frames and changes in the Taiwan factory

if Keith is reading this...glad you chose to go with "KS" (Keith Scott) for the new link design!!

makes more sense considering the amount of work you put into it, sounds much better than VF4B or whatever the 1st generation link was called?

Not true - I have ridden bikes AT LEAST five times this year...and enough on the Prime that I can barely make a 26 inch wheeled bike work anymore LOL

The text says more about the process than a single photo.

Timmigrant, I hope that's just a token picture of the QC process. I certainly wouldn't be measuring a bunch of bearing bores with calipers and praying to get good results all day.

Actually in that picture I was measuring the bearing housing to make sure it was undersized to spec to be reamed out later before assembly. Haha, we certainly don't do all QC with calipers, but they play an important part for some checks.
