I am using this as a test bed to Four Kings tires so not going dual ply DH tires.

Front will be DHF EXO. Rear will be a 2.1 Kenda BBG UST tire.

I ran the DHF in Peru pretty hard and was happy with it. The BBG I have been running as a front here and have been really happy with it. It`s about the same size as a Maxxis 2.35, being UST it`s pretty thick sidewall.

But I don't plan to check in till tomorrow am...

I assume it's just one of the things they plan to finish this afternoon. Just wanted to get an idea of my start times.

Thanks Flip.

Oh and I am going to call everyone that pre-rides the course cheating. Yeah that's it. All you pre-riders are cheating. Should be going in blind like me.

Went up at 825 this evening:

Does the 2-3 gap look tight, especially compared to the 3-4?

Was tight indeed, many people had trouble getting to stages 2 and 3 on time. Then a huge gap between 3 and 4, kind of strange.
Fun day though. Top to bottom at the end was nasty, hard to hang on to a little bike for that long!

As a very slow rider, I got to the start of stage 2 just in time, and of the 5 people that were ahead of me 1 started late and the other 4 didn't make it before I left! When I went through #3 the guy at the top said that half of the people were missing their start times.

But I had a nice lunch with the family between stages 3 and 4 (and killed an additional hour or so after that)......

Poorly planned but excellently executed. Props to the volunteers for a great race!

So, if you missed your time did the clock start then? I thought last year if you missed your time you went to the back of your catagory and started then?

Your time started with or without you.

Super fun event. A little rushed to make the transitions in time, but it wasn't impossible you just could not get lost, doddle, or waste time.

I like that it meant you had to be moving at a solid pace for the whole first three stages.

Super fun day. It has me stoked to do more Enduro races. We need a full local series. An event in the Fraser Valley, North Van, Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton. Model the series off the Oregon Enduro Series with it being a two day with stages on Saturday and Sunday. With 5 locations and 10 days of racing it would be epic.
