I have three files I need to keep seeding back...but I deleted my old uT and installed the newest version.

How do I re-establish a seed? Thx

Find (either in your download directory, if you don't have your client automatically delete loaded torrents, or by re-downloading the same torrents from _________ < insert website of choice) the torrent file and reload it. It should check your directory for the content and if the content is still there and complete, will start seeding.

That totally worked...it did a check, found the content, and went right to seed

Version 2.2.1 is considered the best version by a good chunk of people. You may want to downgrade if you have recently upgraded.

I'm assuming this is because of the bloat added in 3.x stuff.

Have heard of issues with seeding, 99% completion of download and slow to finish, and stability with the newer version.

It all depends on what trackers you use as well - some prefer the older, less bloaty versions, and others (notably body of water with dirty seamen) don't do as well with the older versions due to the way the magnet links work (I have heard but don't have much experience with using the magnet links).

Speaking of huge buckets of rainfall, anyone got an update on that small evil devil creature site? Seems they've been struggling with a DoS attack for something over two weeks now.
