I saw one on the Port Mann bridge once. Old bearded hobo looking dude holding on for dear life with his right hand on the throttle while his left hand was holding down what appeared to be some kind of construction hard hat. Blowing side to side in the wind at about 30 km/h with a massive clusterfuck of cars, trucks and semi's scrambing to try to get around him. I've always wondered if he ever made it across or if somebody ended up punting him over the railing. It was truly one of those "what the fuck is this nutter doing?!!" moments.

Well I raise you the idiots who think the bike lane is where their mobility device/scooter should go. Then they get mad when cyclists use the sidewalk to get round them then swerve into traffic.

I don't particularly like them but they take up less space than cars so we should find a way to make them work. About 50% regulations and 50% tolerance from everyone else should fix it.

I'm thinking if 2 versions were available that would be pretty sweet. Make 1 that has pedals, requires no license but is capped at 25 km/h. Then the licensed version could be pedalless and able to hit 80 or so. At the moment NA needs more personal transportation options. All people have are bicycles, big scary dangerous motorcycles, or cars. That's not enough to get average people to start saving road space.

Motorists need to drop the rage that comes from being held up by anything other than other cars. I find it funny people will sit in a gridlock in a state of acceptance yet throw a fit when they have to go around a slower moving vehicle on a open road.

News flash. No road user is slowing down your commute more than all the millions of other cars!

Actually you can insure anything you just can't license these stupid things and for that I'm glad keep them off the road and off the bike paths!
