calling out NSMB plumbers and HVAC experts - low humming noise
I hear a very low frequency humming noise in my bedroom upstairs late at night and usually, it'll immediately shutoff at around 4AM in the morning. This also seems to only occur during the summer... The humming noise can even cause slight vibration on my door or heater vents. I tried temporarily turning on the heater, or turning on the water in my sink to relieve any pressure build up, but it didn't do the trick. When I go outside, it's dead silent and it can only be heard in adjacent rooms to my bedroom and barely heard in the room right below mines. The gas furnace is also inactive throughout during the humming noise.

Does anyone know where this may be coming from?

But really, in my building i have the two make up air vent fans on timers.
I keep them running in four hour rotations drawing air in to the building. I take it you live in an apartment, or starta shared lot of some sort.
record the times and compare it to what ever settings are on the make up air system set up there.
My building is a small 30 unit three story . no onsite manager . a few of us owners have some practical knowledge and run the p[lace.
if you live in a larger tower , talk to that basement dwelling manager and demand answers. (or access to the mech room and roof..)

Sounds like you could have bum motor in one of your bathroom's ceiling fan?
Check by disconecting the power inside the ceiling vent. Just take off the ceiling cover and disconnect at the molebex conector...they click a part .

If the humming is gone, you will need to buy a replacement motor for your fan ($75-150) fix depending on the model.
