xtr levers with saint calipers
I've noticed a few guys running the new xtr levers with saint 810 calipers. I'm looking into new brakes for my dh bike and was wondering what advantages (or disadvantages) there are to this set-up. I like the smaller xtr lever, so I may look into this combination if it's worth it performance-wise.

$$$$$... I'd love the new saint brakes, but looking for more inexpensive option.

The slx lever is an option I hadn't thought about. As for the new 820 lever with 810 calipers, if it's in the budget, that's a good option too. Thanks for the input.
I'm still curious to know if there is any impact on performance when using a different lever/caliper combination. |

The XTR levers have a smaller reservoir than the Saint levers... There's another thread that may have the info you're looking for: Best DH brake system, c'mon in... info about XTR levers and Saint callipers starts at post #80
