Burnaby Mtn revisited Shredfest with Video
[IMG][/IMG]I have not done Burnaby mountain in years. Its so close, popular local mountain for beginners i thought. Nicoles is a fast racetrack with nice lil jumps placed it seems around every corner. there is a wiked coffee shop up top that makes realy good americanos. I bus shuttle and the bus stops near that round tower[bc hydro building] there is a strip mall. a place called Rennesaince coffee. After coffee there are stairs to huck right beside the coffee shop!

The americanos at the Renaissance by the bus loop are not very good. The other Renaissance, in the north-east corner of the AQ building, uses JJ beans and does actually make good coffee. Their hours are much more limited, though.

If you are looking for some sustenance, the authentic Indian samosas are one of the better deals at either Renaissance, $1.40 each (yes, 3 or 4x the price they would be on Fraser Street or in Surrey, but better value than some other shitty pastry).
