NEW BIKE DAY!!!

Yeah... It's alright. Shipped sans les pedals so slapped a couple of my neighbours beaters on it to set it up. Nukeproof Protons en route. Seems alright - beefy as hell - can't say more till I get 'er out into the gnar

I was trying to figure out WTF the difference was between the two of 'em, till I realized the Protons had a couple more grip-lugs in the centre of the flat (and the spindle's a bit different).

THANKS FOLKS!!! She'll be getting dirty very soon... VERY soon. Plan on shuttling up to Cream Puff or Overnight Sensation - or Cop Killer - and givin' er a good once over.

It is a bit overkill. I know these things aren't meant to be sat on, but c'mon, it feels like some kinda rubberized pineapple pine cone thing. So it goes. Anyone want a new fly seat and matching beam seatpost PM me. We'll see how long this sticks around.

Overall though, seems solid as hell, the wheels were nice and tight (laced) upon unpacking) and the spec is over the top for this ride. It'll need a couple good runs to get it figured out, but hey, there's worse things I could be doing with my time.

Keep the post, get a new SDG Saddle. Together they are a good, strong, light weight fit.
Or buy my Cromag Moon Saddle ( Grey /Red) and Hope Eternity seat post, also nice
