Whistler can keep its snow. The riding is great everywhere else!

Rode around a little bit of cut yer bars today. about half snow-dirt in the first bit, but as you climb further towards where the trail splits, it becomes snowier.
also checked out emerald forest, snow seems to be only on the trail, not the surrounding treed area. hoepfuilly this forecast rain brings snow to the alpine and clearing snow from trails below |

WHen should I expect the valley trails to start opening? I have a few days up there soon - keen to look around. Otherwise Pemberton it is.
Cheers Ben |

Pembie for sure - been awesome, loamy, grippy, trails for the last 3+ weeks. Temps are perfect too, somewhere around 10C to 15C on average, which means no early season over-heating on the grunts up!

Rode Lower Your Seat to Train Wreck back to Function yesterday. Only a couple of very small snow patches on TW. And one big one when coming out to the tracks at one point.
I would guess that Train Wreck is clear to the South end but then it's a gamble as to whether the access road to Runaway Train is clear. |
