Pangor Trail Days Oct 9 & 17
The NSMBA is pleased to announce two upcoming trail days on Seymour Mountain. On Saturday October 9th and Sunday October 17th, Pangor Trail will see some much needed love. That’s right, not one, but two days of concerted effort ensures the improvements will make an impact!

Meeting time is at 9am in Park Gate Mall near Different Bikes. Breakfast, snacks and coffee will be provided as well as lunch. Plus, there will be prizes at the end of the day. Many experienced builders have committed to leading the work, including Digger himself! It’s a great opportunity to learn from the best, do your part for the community, make some new friends and have a great day in the forest! Please join us in our efforts. I really want to come out to one of these. I finally get my license to drive up, yet I have work experience on saturday. I might be able to make it on the 17th.

It was a great turnout to day by a crew of hardworking Shore lovers who put in plenty of effort hoisting logs, cutting slats and nailing stringers to improve the ladder bridges on Pangor.

Lots of progress was made today removing rotten sections and replacing them. Its a great start, but there's still lots of work to do on our next trail day on Oct 17th. We hope you can make it out to help with the revitalization of Pangor.

O yes Sven! There's actually plenty of cedar to be had.
We've got a stockpile.
Plus lots of great prizes donated from our sponsors for everyone who comes out to help.

And Pangor needs some serious love. And some leaders outside of Matt, Rob & Chris. You should come out and help with a project Sven.
The water was running like a flume down the trail, and many of the rungs and stringers are rotted to the point of hazard. We need water diversion, rerouting and plenty of slats.
For any of us that have slashed the shit out of the trail for the past decade, time to make amends and show up on the 17th. There is still hope for Pangor.

So, I am going to be coming on the 17th with a friend to help out on one of my favorite trails. Is there anything I should be bringing? Of course I am bringing another set of hands. For some reason I keep thinking that you guys need tools as well.
I want to make as much work done on this trail as possible. There are not many trail days done each year.
