Zocchi DJ1 Problems anyone?
I found a good deal on an '05 DJ I and id like to know if there are any problems with it. Reliablility has never seemed to be a problem with Zocchi, but i just want to make sure. I can get it for $270 (usd).
Or, does anyone have any other suggestions for that price range? Will be used for DJ'ing and Urban. PS- This will be going on my Steelhead fram ethats been sitting in the garage for 5 months. Its getting new brakes and tires too!! Sooooo psyked!!! I havent had a good all around ride everywhere fun bike ever!! All i ever had was more expensive FS bikes that i couldnt ride everyday! I cant wait to ride this thing!!!!!!!

I have and O5 dj1 and really like it. Its pretty heavy but really strong and stiff. Pretty good adjustabillity but not a trail bike fork. Not a first choice for a lot of that riding. DJs and street, great fork. Go for it

yea, not expecting it to be light. I will be running a SS set up and i want something that i dont have to worry about breaking. And i am an official thru axle convert. I love the stiffness of my Pike, and i imagine the DJ is even stiffer. Cant wait!

Anyone care to do me a BIG favor and go outside to check the axle to crown length on their DJ fork? I have a Fox with travel adjustment so i can see how the DJ1 would handle on the street just by adjusting my fork. This way, ill know what length and rise stem/handlebar i want before i even get a chance to ride the fork. Im smart like that
![]() Major e-props for whoever deos this for me!!

Chunk,
I'll do this later today when I get home. My fork isn't exactly what you're looking at buying but the axle to crown should be exactly the same. Edit: I'm sure you can get this info off the marzocchi site, I mainly just taking the chance to show off my new bike. |

(This is Jeff M)
My fork is set to 100mm and the axle to crown is a hair over 19", so the 488mm number would be right. Didn't get around to taking a picture...
