Aug 10, Empress Reroute Trail Day

Hello!

We've added an extra trail day to the regular trail day schedule this summer.

BC Parks has graciously allowed us to build a trail through their land to allow us to keep the upper rock faces on Empress open. Without the Cooperation of BC Parks and the District of North Vancouver, Empress would have remained closed. The Empress trail will remain closed until the reroute is complete.
Due to the amount of work that still needs to be done, the trail will not open after this day.

The usual stuff: starts at 9am - hike 20 meters up the Old Buck trail from the parking lot
and you'll see the trail entrance and signs on your left. We plan to work until 4pm.

Be sure to bring gloves and a shove if you've got one. You'll also want to bring water, John Henry will be providing a BBQ lunch for the volunteers!

This trail day will count towards your entries for the season end draw prizes of Hoots Armour, a Sugoi Bosui jacket and a .243 racing frame.
