Every little bit helps...I've talked to some people who've participated in stakeholder sessions with BC Parks, and the public review process is coming out pretty positive for mtb side so far, generally speaking. Seems they also know many of the perceived issues can be mostly dealt with through proper trail building technique and maintenance as well as other management solutions, of which the mtb community has LOTS of experience in! I feel like things are more positive than negative at this point, let's keep it up!

Question: Do people just go out there anyway? Is it patrolled? Is the area accessible to bikes today?

I know there's similar laws in the UK about not riding on "footpaths" and in many cases they are ignored, and the penalties are never acted upon in my experience. I suspect it's a little tougher here but the spaces are also so vast...

Singletrack did 3 articles on that last year. I'll look up the exact issues when I get home tonight.

If I recall correctly it mentioned in the first article that at one point access was way more oppresive then it has been here at one point. Led to the Kindr Trespass,
