Our North Vancouver store has receiving a bit of flack about pandering fulltime to the 29'er crowd, so here's a quick reminder that we rip the 26" bikes too!

Is your suspension a little long-in-the-tooth? Need a little more cushion when you're pushing?

-2012 Fox 36 Vanilla (Coil) FIT RC2 160mm Taper/Kashima: $1125 (+tax, includes install)

-2012 Fox 36 Float (Air) FIT RLC 160mm Taper/Kashima: $1150 (+tax, includes install)

-2012 Fox 32 Float (Air) FIT RL 120mm Taper: $650 (+tax, includes install)

-2011 Fox 32 Float (Air) FIT RLC 140mm Taper: $700 (+tax, includes install)

Anything in the Fox 32 line with a 1.125" steer tube (old frame), prefer Talas with a range of 100-120 travel, but maybe a Float with 100 travel would work too?

Does Fox even make anything like this anymore?

Hi Craig,

We only have Tapered forks in stock, but Fox still makes many 1-1/8" offerings.

Talas forks only come in 140mm (adjusts to 110mm) and 150mm (adjusts to 120mm) travel.

...

Our advice? Buy a 140mm or 150mm travel Float 32 and have it spaced down to whatever travel you want (90mm? 100mm? 110mm? etc!). This will increase the future re-usability / resale potential of the fork.

Not sure if this is off topic but just putting it out there ... Any thoughts/comments about retro-fitting a Cannondale Lefty onto a Santa Cruz Blur LT?

Bops, you should definitely get into Different Bikes and have them retrofit that fork for you!

There are aftermarket steerer-tubes/crowns available, on the internet - direct from the guys who think it is a grand idea - to convert Lefty forks to 1-1/8". Beyond that, you are on your own for that one...

We do not service Lefty forks, so you would probably be best to talk to your Cannondale dealer about warranty/Cannondale's view on liability in our market running an aftermarket 1-1/8" steerer.

We are not a Santa Cruz dealer, so you would probably be best to talk to your Santa Cruz dealer about warranty/Santa Cruz's view on dual crown forks on Blur LT frames.

If you are interested in a Fox, Marzocchi, Rockshox, DT, or Magura fork then we could probably help you out.
