Amazing riding and a great looking video that captures some of the natural beauty of Scotland. So in summary, awesome.

Production values are way up. Same level of unbelievableness but somehow it's a mellower video - is it the music of the production that causes that? Or maybe that there's more space between each move. I think this video is better but it doesn't gratify my ADHD the same way.

gorgeous cinematography, and some nice line selections /amazing riding in there. loved the minimalist narrative, lack of cliche effects, and fitting soundtrack. solid.

I exclaimed out loud a couple of times watching that. He really does have the most amazingly unique style, he's so unbelievably explosive.
Wow. |

crankworx street style
i would love to see this form of riding in comp form. say friday night at crankworx.
not that the current trails comp isn't entertaining. the combo of street and trials really drives home the skills of these athletes. |

wasn't there some kid that pulled a front flip off a flat ladder drop and it was somewhat groundbreaking? try it from a standstill. Unreal. I had to stop the playback after that first move.

This vid was amazing. Super well filmed, and obviously Danny Mac is a unique rider. I'm glad to see him do well.
Two quibbles: 1. most of the things I thought were ridiculously cool would have been a lot more natural on a bmx, or at least on a bike with a non-ridiculous gear ratio. 2. it's a shame they wasted his banger at the start to keep people watching. Folks have been doing frontflips off their rear brake from a standstill for a couple years now. Not that it should take anything away from Danny Mac, but Wyper's drop gap front flip at speed with no brakes is definitely more of a first. (even though he blew his feet off; its mountain biking, it counts) |
