i dont really understand the negatory comments about womens only biking clubs the muddbunnies doesn't discriminate against guys either, SO's are welcome on certain group rides and weekend events.

I believe that's discrimination right there. Everyone is welcome as the default, and only certain events are gender specific would be non-discriminatory.

That's just the textbook. I have absolutely no problems with a women only club who invites the guys out when they choose. Anything that gets more people into biking is a good thing. Muddbunnies also promotes the social side, and trail work side of the sport as well. How can that be a bad thing?

I've never felt excluded, or been told that I can't ride with the MB's.

But then, not everyone is ruggedly handsome like I am.

As far as I know men can become members of Muddbunnies and join rides unless the ride is specificly stated to be womens only. There have been Jackrabbits one few rides.

true, apres is usually 50/50, we definitely don't discriminate during the pub portion of our rides Plus it's pretty awesome listening to all the women retell their significant others about the accomplishments and conquests of the ride.

^^ Could not agree more. I am really glad that I got my wife into riding, although I can be a dick sometimes, when she is slower and whatnot...

Will the Mudbunnies organize group rides in July?

Our Muddbunnie Club rides go all season long. HB1/2 told me that the last club ride was the 3rd week in November last year.

If your lady is interested in checking out the club she can join one group ride in July without having to sign up for a membership. We've got rides from beginner to advanced and from downhill to XC. Only members can access the Muddbunnies Clinic and Rides thread but if she's interested we can get her the information.

She'd definitely be welcomed on a ride
