• Somewhere 'out in the country'
• Low traffic volumes
• Decent shoulder and road surface (no dirt roads)
• Not stopping and starting every couple of meters for red lights and/or stop signs
• Nice open views
• Bonus points for ice cream stop part way round
• More bonus points for a pub with a nice patio
• Looking for something relatively flat and up to around 40-50 km

Anything more hilly, and I'll have to curtail the km's

I recently moved to Vancouver, and as such have bought a full-suspension bike. Having ridden extensively in high school on the East Coast, and more touring as an adult (college was a non-riding time!) I'm looking to get back into mountain biking. If there's anyone who would like to buddy up and go for rides, preferably someone w/ a car and rack, please let me know! I'm going to be slow and winded at first, but hope to progress along with people.
