ha..ya that would be crazy eh? Ya freelap seems to be for some of the local trails that we shuttle or rise allot. I also use it on most of the BC Cup courses....I can see my first lap and a pregression of speed for hot laps. Me and a few guys also spread poles acrss the course and get 2-3 splits in a run. You often focus on a section you think will lose the race and it does not really matter....

Hey Ando, got your message about the freelap thread a while ago, had a thought today though, what about a freelap race at night...now that is a high stakes race. Could be fun.
