Take a guess at who's organizing it? ;)

Let's just say those CX riders will know how it will feel to be airborn.

"How hard can it be?" What, organizing the nationals or clearing a double on a road bike? lol

I'd have thought trying to sprint, jump hurdles, and also lugging a bike at the same time.

Hurdles are for pussies. Real men clear triples.

I was thinking this would be a good spectator draw:

Just strap some road bikes onto their backs and voila - CX nats.

End of October, probably the weekend of the 27th-28th. I could be wrong about that and if I am, it will be earlier. Hopefully they don't get snowed on. ;)

If it isn't snowing, It isn't racing.

the problem isn't the air, it's the speed at which the air is taken at. Which left a few people, with pancake flat landings at the bottom. I just built up my cross bike for this year (my 1st) I can't imagine landing to flat, I really think the bike would fold in half. It gives me the willies just thinking about it.

On a mountain bike, no prob! bring on the doubles!
