I passed an older guy (40-50-ish) in the Squamish Triathlon a couple of weeks ago doing the road ride an atrophied left leg. He was flying too. Not sure whether he had a past illness/injury or was recovering from an injury or was born with a defect, but it was truly inspiring to see him giving it all he had and making decent time. D.
