skip the parks. the best riding is elsewhere.

I just came back from Panorama and had a good time. They have great single track trails with big drop opportunities and fun wood structures.

I would have liked to stay longer and check out the trails outside the park. The locals were saying that all the best riding is near by and shuttlable.

Kicking horse because you also can ride Mt7.

Having ridden all 3 I liked Panarama the least to be honest but it could be my style of riding. Fernie is OK if both lifts are going (don't ride Megasoreass). Kicking horse is worth the lift up - amazing view at the top and a really long long lift (not because it's slow but because you go to the top!) The rock on Kicking is super slick though. Mt7 isn't a bikepark of course but wow what a ride - worth a day of riding for sure.

Have Panorama, KH, or Fernie expanded much in the last few years? Looking at the maps, they look pretty similar to what they had in 2004 when I last rode them. In 2004 Pano had the most going on, followed by Fernie, and then KH bringing up the rear.

its true that the best riding is elsewhere but you can say that for every bike park
