Id like your best 3 local eating and beer drinking spots, they do not have to be one in the same.

try the tunna steak buger at glc
brew house has good micro brew, and ceasers...
dusty's is good, but Hozs pub across the road is great too for out of village(creekside)
sushi place at nestors is good, and pretty cheap
crabshack...but pretty $$$
breakfast...rosewood, southside, and the one just past the home hardware on the left(by lordco i think)

mongolie grill is way over priced and not worth it. 1 pasta lapino 2 sushi village 3 crepe montagne and for beer, 1 merlins 10 dolla pitchers 2 crystal lodge 3 earls patio at dusk

Oneof the most heavily overpriced restaurants around. to get my fill costs a small fortune unless you buy the "light" foods, which just suck
Firerock, Brandy's, CBB (only when the cooks are actually doing it right), Sachi Sushi, 3 below impressed me a bit (although I hate whistler beer)
I have two places I want to try, pasta lupinos and the new restaurant called Opa.

Yea, for sure. The Function one is way better though, and almost a dollar per item cheaper.
Or maybe that was because my roomie and frequent breakfast partner was a mechanic across the street and everyone at the Wildwood loved him. Hmmm.

avalanche pizza, or pita etc by the movie theater. Also say you are in camp of champions and they give u a deal. 2 slices and a drink for 7 bucks at avalanche, and a free drink with you personal pita or pizza. Also go to pita on a Tuesday or Thursday and everything is 2 dollars cheaper.

Behind the Footlocker, sort of. And the Helley Hansen store.
It's expensive, but good! And they use organic dough.

Where is avalanche pizza?
its in that little court to the right behind the beavertails joint....imo it sucks.
hit up merlins or whistler brewhouse for affordable suds & solids.
pita etc does receive an honorable mention.

number 1 beavertails is on the mtn, if your referring to zogs owned by the same people, thats not even close to avalanche pizza. in the area of footlocker, starbucks and the earls. next up brewhouse is neither affordable for food or beer, and theyre really not a brewhouse there beer is brewed in kamloops or kelowna and neither suds or solids are affordable there. i hate to say glc but it seems reasonable obviously not as cheap as burger and beer at merlins but its about convenience.
and avalanche is good food to of course as said above

we checked out beets and roots (or beet roots...or whatever) the other day to see what kinda of breakfast offering they had. Not too bad at all. Fairly priced and pretty busy, but the service and food were good enough so we will have breaky there again.
We usually finish riding and park ourselves on the glc patio for a couple pitchers and some nachos. We get cleaned up and head to the whis brewhouse for a few pints of stout and make our way to Cittas for a pitcher or two til the patio closes and then inside for another until they close that up too.
I cannot get over how early things close down in the village. At least it forces us to make our way back to our place so we can get up in time for breaky and get some runs in. With extended hours, I find it hard to want to get out of bed in time for the lifts to open.

Splitz: Best burger place ever. Hands down.
Merlins: $10 pitchers and $5 burgers after 6pm.
Ingrids Deli: Probably make some of the best sandwiches in the village.
Earls: Only hires hot waitresses:lol:

we followed this exact route on saturday....ended up in some subterrainian meat-market after Cittas...(no clue which one)....and from that point on the night became a blur (mostly from the bed-spins)
I can't wait to get back to the GLC for Nachos......

yah, that's it :) We saw it at night walking through the village and decided waffles sounded good for breakfast and checked it out. Not too shabby; waffles with berries and creme, some hashbrowns, and a large oj. Good way to jumpstart the day!
