Big crowd showed up(179 racers) for the second Phat Wednesday race this summer under perfect condition. The sun has finally come back to Whistler this week after a really long month of June. Angry Pirate was the trail of choice and was bone dry. Lots of passing at this venue made timing a bit of a nightmare but all in all everything was run under 2 hours. Next race is on June 11 and course is still to be determined.

its a pretty good line as far as pedaling the only place i think i pedal is the entrance before the fork and i guess between the trails... so i can pretty much count on getting spanked by some of the chainless riders

yeah but see......I'm still a bum recovering from a broken neck and back and skull....I'm not worried about doing it chainless, I'm worried about myself hurting myself.......I miss biking

Props to all the riders who showed up in todays heat. it was a scorcher up there today. I couldn't keep enough water in me, and the dust was getting crazy.
