well my roadtrip was friggin sick! started out in kamloops and rode Harper, RoseHill (the new trail "RIO" is AMAZING!!) then headed to kelowna and rode Gillard, Powers Creek, and Postill (Addiction is SWEET!!!) then we headed to Silverstar for the opening weekend, bundled up and camped out in the parkign lot! That is a FUN hill!! you could drive a mack truck around those berms!! so huge!! Took off sunday afternoon once it started to rain and headed for whislter!! We were supposed to ride whistler Mon,Tues,Weds but on my 5th run down the hill things went wrong for me...Hit up the Biker X and the big table jump after the Step down bucked be wierd and i ended up landing at the the bottom of the tranny on my head knocking me out..dont remember ridding to the bottom of the hill but my buddies were tellign me later that i was repeating myself alot and was kinda out of it, so off to the clinic it was..no concussion, just some good road rash and soem stiches in my knee..TLD pads are comfortable but they slide around to much..puncture wound to my knee (no breaks though thankfully) ripped the knee off my pad and split the plastic in half, helment held up good just some scratches now...so i got to chill out in whistler for 2 days and hobble around the village...
super stoked on the trip though and i am already planning my return!! Met a TON of awesome people and it was truly an awesome experiance!!! i think a move to kelowna is in order...
here are a couple photos..used PB again cause NSMB seems to make the ones i post HUGE!!!

Good thing you were wearing body armour. I plan to wear mine forever up at Whistler, just cause the ground is so hard up there!

Our mountains here are made of bubble wrap. Anyway, there's no way I will be buying the TLD Lopes knee pads. YIKES!

If they told you at the clinic you had no concussion with those symtoms, then they should be fired as first aid attendants. Those are classic symtoms for a level 3 concussion. I would still make an appointment with your family doctor to make sure your noggon is all good. Some of the most severe damage can happen days after it actually occured.
Sounds like a wicked trip!
