They are currently being built. should arrive on US shores mid/late august.

Reminds me of a Bottlerocket with bigger travel. Haven't been a huge fan of the Blindside's looks but the suspension system definitely seems like an improvement over the Gran Mal.

I may be wrong but isn't that the same suspension design as an old Rocky Mountain DH? Like the one Simmons rides in NSX 2?

Nope. That bike was similar to this one:

The Rocky's link rotates the other way from the Blindside.
I'd be concerned over the huge length of the Blindside's seatstays. I had a Psycle Werks Wild Hare (long long long time ago) and its long chainstays were brutal. Of course new designers, new execution, better materials + pivots, etc can make for a radically sturdier bike. But they still look long to me. I guess I'll just have to see it in real life... :)

It's not like their bikes are made with weight in mind, the covert is the only fully that comes in under 7lbs without a shock...don't be too shocked.
