Hey guys...
Last year was my first year at Whistler--loved it. I planned it so that I would only be riding on weekdays... I was in town Mon-Thursday and then left. The trails were pretty quiet, but there were still people there obviously (in Aug).
This year, I'm bringing 5 other guys (sometime in August) and we're going to be riding Thurs, Friday & Sunday. I'm wondering HOW much busier it is on a Sunday or, even a Friday for that matter vs. the early/mid week stuff.
I'm ok, but these other guys are pretty green and I can see them creeping down some of these trails and holding up traffic on the mountain. I'm just picturing like 10 times the amount of people on the trails making it hard to pull over or having a guy on their ass. They're going to stick to green and blues I'm sure... But a lot of the blues like Crank it Up and Heart of Darkness were even busy on a Wednesday when I was there!
Just trying to get an idea of what to prepare them for.
