I hear rumours... anyone care to confirm/deny? KM is arguably my favourite trail on the lower mountain, so more of the same would be cooler than a polar bear's toenails :coo:

There hasnt been any re-naming going on, you may have been thinking of something else

you can see some work in the trees next to the road below where Aline crosses the road, those are the trees that Karate Monkey is in, can't wait...

That is just the MOF (Ministry of Forests - not what you're thinking..) doing some much needed tree spacing. No Karate Monkey. I swear..

If that is the case we should sent MOF to do some much needed spacing on other parts of the mountain as well! haha Karate Monkey rules.

Kyle,

Braking bumps form when you have to brake - you don't have to brake on KM (not much anyway)

there's like one spot you really got to lay them on and that's it for that trail, all flow and sweet corners.....

Coming off the wooden bride/walkway into that hard left innit- that section's got quite rutted now, you used to be able to find a smooth line outside the bumps but it's getting harder and harder.

What trail do you take into karate monkey. I know you can cut off of aline and go down that path right before the turnoff to crabapple hits but isnt there another trail that goes into it?

You can take Shleyer or Joyride to where they cut under the lift, and hang bikers left along After Atlantis....... KM is a little after Smoke & Mirrors

exactly. I think WBP needs to force people to do a chainless day every year.

riding chainless is sweet. it makes you flow better on the trail. i think they should have a chainless day in WBP

upper km would be sick but it would be awsome if it was a little steeper km is just a little bit flat in some parts
