ya man, those ones.. we've been fixing/building new ones for a few weeks now, the jumps are super rad

medium 4 pack, then u can go straight off another jump over the berm or you can take the berm and there's a small 4 pack then a sweet hip that you can take either way

or you can take teh first jump, and turn to another jump over bushes kinda, and then we're building a step up jump to a ladder that you rhythm with the last jump, to a 10 footer

and were fixing up the 15 footer, so we have 1 good sized hit over by itself

haha, yeah when i broke mine at Whistler it was sticking up on top like 2 offset fingers under my skin...

strangly enuf when the trail-nurse pointed it out, i didnt even know i was hurt...but shortly after the adreneline wore off, adn then i was in agony... broken Bone pain is the worst....

ok, maybe burn injuries are worst actually... but bone pain is second...

Did you hear the snap, crackle, pop? That was the favorite part when I broke mine. Make sure you lift weights after 2 weeks or when ever the doctor says its ok to. When I broke my collar bone I didn't work it out and now I get the occasional aching pain in it. I've also heard of people getting constant pains because they didn't exercise. Sucks to hear about that, at least you'll get sympathy points from the ladies. Hope you have a quick recovery.

I know I sure as hell couldn't work out 2 weeks after I broke mine. I was in a hell of a lot of pain for about a week and popped T3s like there was no tomorrow.

Get the sling off fast though. I took mine off a week after. It'll feel sore after not using the muscles for even a week, but it'll speed recovery. Don't let em talk you into a long-term sling or figure-8. The healing rate is the same for both of those or nothing. Go for nothing.

yeah my doctor told me it makes no difference if i dont wear this thing (its not a sling btw) its this new thingy that looks like back pack straps around my shoulders, then its a X in the back. its meant to pull my shoulders back and push the bone into place more and more as i tighten it

when the nurse first put it on and reefed to tighten it, my bone made this crazy sound and it went back into place (more than it was anyways..)

its still sticking out like this ^ though..

weird thing is it didnt really hurt when it happened, i was just winded really bad so i was in pain from that

i guess the only thing that hurt was the pushing back into place

the doctor also said the bump should go away in 6 months and i can go riding in 3 weeks :)

That's a figure-8 sling man. That's what I was talking about.

He described it to, and asked if I wanted to wear it considering it wouldn't help my recovery. Needless to say...

Everyone else gets these nice breaks due to impact...stupid being owned by a tree. :(

yeah my doc told me not to bother getting one...

cuz most people dont use em properly.. it you dont constantly keep tighten'n it, its a pointless thing to wear...

my bones healed up just fine naturally...

i was of bikes for about 6-8 weeks thou, i didnt wann risk it...

Yeah...that was the other thing. You need to constantly reef on em for them to have any possible benefit, which is minor at best.

I was off for a total of nearly 24 weeks :(. Broke, healed, then had that spike I showed, good chance of it coming through the skin if I fell, then wait for bone to solidify more before surgery to shave the spike, surgery, recovery. BAH.
