i think i have that same wheelset, wh 550? isnt that red?

Yup its a 550. Hope you don't break a spoke. The wheel is pretty robust, and you'll probably be able to ride it home. Getting it fixed is a problem. The set has 3 different spoke sizes (no surprise there). Getting replacement spokes and nipples can be a problem, nobody seems to stock them locally (if know someone who does send me a pm). They have to be ordered from California. Plus you need a special tool to install a spoke. The Shimano rep told me to get spare nipples too if you can (that's what gave out on mine). Also, Jeff at Different Bikes told me that you have to talk to the right person at Shinamo (or maybe its Norco who is the distributor), otherwise they will have no clue about what you are talking about. Which explains why my first 2 attempts to order replacement spokes through North Shore LBSes came to zero. Otherwise, they are a good deal and so far seem to be pretty strong.

As to the colour, it looks pink in daylight. Hopefully it looks red from the cab of a pickup truck. D.
