I am coming up for the 3rd year in a row this August and wondering what will new new? Will Freight Train be ridable all the way down the upper half of the mountain? How are those lips on A-line looking are they steep like BMX style jumps or are the mellowed outa bit. Anything new on DM?

Bring your BMX, You cant ride A-line on a Mountain bike. Way to Steep.
The lips on Aline are the same as last year. Some are kinda lippy others arent. It depends.

You sound like my riding buddies here, I alway get flak for not liking the steep lips.

20 if you land half way down the landing more like. Its way smaller one your in the air! Looks big in person, but its all good, cause it seems waayy smaller when your rolling up to it.
And I guess I'm just used to those a-line lips, cause they seem just right for me! After one or two runs, they will be working for you. Just gotta know each jump.

I'll bet a beer - 20' lip to start of landing. I'll measure it tomorow. Are ya old enough to buy me a beer Cooper?

Cooper, I was hoping that you were going to take me up on this one, but somehow I feel that you are not old enough to buy me a beer anyway (I may be wrong). I measured the gap and it is 21'. Kira is my witness. One day it will be my pleasure to buy you a beer (when you are old enough) cause I like your style.

alright well, im 13, so I guess you might have to remind me when im legally allowed to buy you one! ha
Oh, and I was sessioning those giro jumps today after school, and I might be the first one to hit the hip next to the first big jump on the left. There were no tracks on it. You need a LOT of speed for it and its really kicky. My friend cranked it and went over the bars. But those are a fun set of jumps. Cant wait to do them again this weekend.

their are woden kickers onto the small and big box know. i dont really like them but then again i only did the box twice so it probably just takes some getting used to!

I hated them at first, but you just need to go slow. Just go no brakes after the berm and pump the roller. Absorb the kicker and pedal twice and aim for the right. Then you have the box just right!
