I might be getting a job in sechelt.
The question is....Can i ride there???

Does anyone know the situation for riding in sechelt at all?
I heard a rumor there is a boat that goes from Sechelt to Squamish several times a day...That would be cool too.

What do you guys know??

don't know about sechelt but gibsons and Roberts creek have good riding and there only like 15- 20 mins away. The Sprockids program has been doing some great work over there for years. Never heard of a boat going to squamish each day. I think your thinking of the one that goes to the Woodfibre Mill not Port Mellon ( which is by Gibsons)

not much riding in sechelt(well, a little bit but not the majority)...
there's a lot of stuff up here now, new trails popping up left and right.definately enough for a wide range of rider's.if you have a car, you're set..all you have to do is go up the loggin road and you're all set.

i just realised that yes, there are a LOT of more rider's up here than there were even 2 years ago..sunshine coast is getting good-er by the month

and bout the boat to squamish? bahahahahahaha

This is great news.
Now i just have to hope for the job.
I will keep in touch with you guys when I find out about the job.
I have been hearing a ton of good things about the sunshine coast....might be a very cool place to live for the summer.

And hey...If I need a shore fix...its not that far to come back for the weekend or even day.
