The small Bullits look ill. The frames on the counter look to be all 150mm spacing?

How is the 135mm spacing? Decent chainline?

Do you think a 5.5" fork with a 1 1/8th reducer would be too steep of a head angle for all around riding?

What's the weight on a small Bullit with a DHX 5 coil? I'm curious to see what the difference is between a DHX air.

I'd say you want at least 6 inch of travel so go for something like the fox 36 talas or vanillas.

Definitely, I mean fo some riding a pike could do, but realistically the bike was designed with at least a 6" fork in mind.

I stopped riding MTB for a couple of years. ( Still have no idea why though )
When I stopped, Bullits were THE bike to have.
In the meantime, they stopped making them, which I wasn't aware of.
Now that I started riding again they're back.
How nice of Santa Cruz to do that, and make me feel at home in the MTB world again.

ya the old ones were pretty popular... I mean people still ride them and they were made in 2002! the new ones are sweet though

I remember when they redid the rear to fit 8" rotors. When was that?

2002, 2003 is when they did that. They also changed the pivot location slightly lower, and added a gusset along with stronger tubing.

I'll probably go on not the next ride, but the one after. I have a class to finish at school, so I don't have much time to ride. The frantik is awesome though, they isn't any trail that it can't be ridden on. Fun so far.
