Just curious as to everyone's opinion on the best freeride fork/s out there. My experience has been on Marzocchi 888's (I have two '05 888RC's) and have been very happy with them but would be curious to hear others opinions on the other offerings out there.

Curious as to who you are listening to. All of these forks seem to be heading back to Norco for warranty repairs or replacement.
I've personally have been through 4 of them, and finally punched out. The Solo air and coils have been trouble free though.

I'm loving my Fox 36RC2, although it too has had a warranty repair (although it was a one of a kind problem)

I think you get a solid rep with Marz. I just sold my 02 Jr. T and nothing ever went wrong with that fork. I am now riding a Totem Solo air and although I haven't put it through the ringer yet, I am nothing but impressed. My only complaint might be the Mission Control switch, but it is a minor one.

Totem coil... loving it and no probs so far. Great damping, stiff, easy on the eyes....

Have you been on anything else? I rode Marz for years, and when I finally went to Fox, I can't see ever going back.
Like I have said many times in many different threads, try them all and find what you like from experience, not what someone said on the internet.

yup try the totems... if you dont want single crown get the Fox 40s... I have them right now and they are amazing for small bumps but they can also take big hits as well without changing the coil!

I've got a 05 888RC and a Totem 2-step air. The 2-step is very, very good, but when it comes down to ultimate plushness, it still doesn't match the 888RC. They are on different bikes so that plays a factor too.

Been Riding the 2-step air for a month or so now and not had any problems at all. I am a large guy as well (245+) and with the pressure almost maxed these things have handled everything I can throw at them so far. I am a huge fan of this fork!

i have a 888rc aswell and it has saved my ass sooo many times. i nose cased side show really really bad bottemed them out and still rode off, i was shocked at the strength. but for FR i think a single crown is nessesary for all the cool tricks

I will be looking at the 36rc2 or a totem 2 step as an option on my next rig
Or
a fox 40 or a totem solo air or coil.
