So I had a customer who came in the bike shop said he saw Steve Peat up at Galbraith today.(4/28) Over heard he was living in Whistler for the summer. Was riding a white dh bike (V10) with orange rims. The guy was tall and skinny, and had a british accent.
Anyone comfirm this or is there an impersonater out there?
Would be cool if he was riding local trails.
oh lala.

i guess he got nuts, eh? ...
on a side note - what is the deal? I have read, heard and seen enough evidence that Whistler as "The New MTB MEcca" has more top pros training and ripping there than any other place in the world. So...what is the deal? He is human, after all, and not a new shiny rig thing you can put on your bedroom wall - like the v10...;)

In Europe we talk about Whistler everywhere now. In every magazine an article abut Whistler is wrote each year. A lot of pro riders talk about Whistler in the Interview, so that's why more and more pro riders spend a lot of time in Whistler now.
And you know if you want to see top racers, just ride on the French Riviera and you could see a lot of world cup pro racer (male and female) ;) There are just normal people (except on a bike, because there are to aliens to be fast as they are loll )
3 months and a half remaining before Whistler for me... it's too long, it's depressive.
yea ok!
