Whoa, that was way worse then I was expecting. Anybody that is squeamish should probably go check out another thread. That is nasty, I'm not sure if a pedal could go that deep. Maybe there was some old junk in the water.

There had to have been a pipe or somthing sharp in the water, wouldent suprise me if there was an old fence post or somthing. I doubt anything on the bike coulda done that. Pretty terrible crash though, deffently not for the fait of heart.

Judging by the size of the cut it looks like he fell right on the chainring. That was totally gnarly though...jumping like 15 feet down into 2 feet of water and slicing your leg open...:nono:
