View Full Version : Bike Park near Cap College!!!

Have you checked out the new bike park near Cap College? its pretty sick! its similar to the Horseshoe Bay bike park except the jumps look bigger (and smoother) and hey have a pretty good 4X track with a start gate and everything (but they only have 3 big jumps and 1 big berm so they need time to finish it)! To get to it turn left at the first street after Cap, then turn left again to go to the park (you'll see a rollerhockey rink) and park and walk to the end of the parking lot and you'll see it! Be sure to check it out!

Except that it's still under construction, and not open to riding yet. :)

(thus the big blue fence around it)

Thanks for the stoke! Hoots has been putting a lot of work into organizing getting it built.

how long is the 4x course gonna be that sounds sick except maybe not gleneagle style jumps this time hoots

dont know... they LOOK good (they are spaced apart pretty good) but they might have problems... i'll give them a try some time

well I think its open because there was no fence... there were 3 people riding it and a park staff member was there but he didnt seem to mind

If you noticed its a bmx gate (8 spots) but it is nice I have been waiting a long time for this .

The BMX track only has the first straight roughed in and still needs lots of love. Cycling BC is putting in the track.

ya I guess ur right but it was kinda rough for a BMX track so I thought it was 4X... they are pretty much the same

I know Hootie will be announcing it when it's ready to be opened. It's an all volunteer and sponsored effort, so it takes time. Thanks!
