Q: is it okay to do the up-hill portion helmet-less? (I asked before and was ignored)

STATEMENT: anyone who rides two bikes; a light xc to make the climb easy, and a freeride bike (that is waiting at the top for them) to make the descent smooth IS A PANSY AND A CHEAT!!!

I hope there will not be any of that nonsense this year.

that is all.

sorry to say, but he just may have voided his insurance policy. tsk...tsk...

we all hate insurance, but it's a necessary evil when putting on events.

I was thinking more along the lines of "my nuts are itchy" cause it looks like he's giving the sackage a bit of a rake.

I say they change the rules to make people climb in full armour on a big DH rig, and go down in lycra on a xc bike (or a road bike)

or you could just start the race with the helmet on and then take it off after the first switchback. then the people running the ripper have their asses covered because you started the race with a helmet and then you chose to take it off.

The Waiver says that I am "advised" to wear full-face and pads but it doesn't actually state that it is necessary. So should I just go with what the waiver says?
