Black Rock Mountain Bike Area in Falls City, Oregon was Pinkbike's lead story this morning, and the "Ski Jump" on Granny's Kitchen (the stunt I'm riding in my signature) was their Picture of the Day.

Always nice to see our trails down here getting some international recognition! :woot:

Nope. Same sport, and within a day's drive. No confusion, whatsoever.

You are pretty stoked on that drop eh.

Not especially, we just happened to film there last ride and it's easy to session. Plus it's a butter landing.

There are bigger there, that's just where the camera came out, as I said. And yes, the girls hit it here, too. Next time I'll post something bigger from Post Canyon, just so you don't mistake nationality as an indicator of riding skills, eh.....

Something like that.....Yep.

EDIT: Just found this. Better angle of the drop. Better perspective on the drop and distance.

6 and maybe 10 I'd guess, but you land farther down the ramp than 10....

I'm riding down there on Memorial Day weekend. A buddy is celebrating a birthday, and we are renting a house in Hood River, and riding Blackrock and Post Canyon. Should be fun.

Is Mt. Hood running lifts this year? I really liked the old race course.
