What is your typical ride like? I know for me i go out ever day, but what do you usally do? Do a lot of you always go out and try to find the nastiest stuff u can constantly? I know for me.. where i am especially right now in the winter we have nothing so we just go screw around jumping on lil ice piles we find here and there... in the summer most of the time its at my friends backyard on his dirt jumps. Downhilling like 2times a month... then maybe a trail ride ever other week.... what are your rides usualy like?

My normal ride is to just ride to a fun jump and hit it up. Try and learn new tricks and what not. Or else just ride around and try and find fun stuff to hit.:P

When i go to whistler though I ride the mountain as AMAP (as much as possible). I am going to try and ridde whistler 20 or 25 times this year. Man do i ever wish i could live there.:high: :damn: :rocker:

My ride is the same old boring cirlce in "downtown" Ucluelet. I've found every thing there is to ride here. I'm mean, it's not boring or I wouldn't do it...but I wish there was more stuff.

I almost excusively shuttle trails......but on those trails are jumps, drops, speed, tech, etc.....of course.
Once in a while I go and just hit some jumps......I'll be doing more of that this yr:)

I just usually poach a few drops around my area, practice mannies and other tech tricks and hit whatever else I can find (which isnt much). If I go up to bellevue, Ill hit the same exact things.

I can drive this summer though! Im stooked!

Ah the life...
Down here (Dallas, Texas), there isn't much downhilling to do. The nearest decent stuff is at least 5 hours drive, better stuff 10 hours away. We ride a lot of urban, skateparks, and jumping. It's funny, two years ago there was maybe a handfull of us riding freeride, now every geek in the area buys a Stinky or something and never hits anything up, they just like having the risktaker label of having a squishy bike, kinda funny I suppose...

I ride everyday out on the street just doing stuff like wheelies, J-hops, manuals and just mucking around. About every 2 weeks or so I organise a proper ride where we either ride urban or some natural stuff.

Wow, not many trail riders on this forum? When I'm home I'm on the trails at least 4 times a week, most likely 6. On my bike every day. Typical ride is 3 miles uphill to the Jesusita/Tunnel/Powerlines trail head. From here it's more climbing to the crest of Gibraltor/Inspiraton Point/or Powerlines, from there I start dhing and either head home after about an hour to two hours or link it up with another trail and keep riding. If I don't hit the trails I'm out at the dj's working on my little bit of style or dropping by the local parks and schools for some fun before the cops come. If all else fails I poach the dual track by our bmx track and then hit up the xc loop I helped build last year. Weekends usually involve a shuttle run on Knapps Castle, Arroyo, or any of the front side trails. If it's been raining then riding is kept to Cold Springs and Tunnel(all rocks) or at the local city college. If I don't have time to do that I'm out in front of my house wheelying and practicing my trials moves. This pretty much goes on all year.
