Woot bubba. He whips huge. Im a big fan of the carmichael whips. If i got out riding more, id be doing better whips.
Fitb, 360s are nuts. You have to do them really weird on a moto.

Pastrana did a double backflip in one video  No clue where it is though

when he was upsidedown (top of the whip) he should find some way to half flip it, so it would turn into a whip/halfbackflip. now THAT WOULD BE COOL.

360s were already being landed like 2 or 3 years ago... fitb is talking about horizontal 3s which would look like 360 tabletops on a mtb (kind of).

Ohhhhhhh. I thought he was implying a 360 as in just a regular 360. Ohhh like tabley. Thatd be sick. I didnt know 3's had been landed yet Thanks... +1

it would be hard as hell to do due to the weight of the bike,
most of the moves u see in the air (whips) are done by turning a bit coming off the lip.

tapping the rear brake helps too.

Isnt it the front to bring the front end down ? are we talking about two different things here ?

any break will bring the bike down, use the rear tho.

would a whip that big even be possible on an mtb? I am just wondering if he uses a shot of gas to pull the back end around again or is it just brake action.

very sick what these guys are doing but it can't go on much longer without one of the big guys going down permanently.

throttle - up the front end
rear brake - drop the front end

Thats all I know.

By the angle of the bike, nearly horizontal, I would say he used throttle and brake to manuver that beastly whip around.

no no no

while you're still on the ground setting up for a whip, you turn which way you want to whip, and tap the rear brake just before it leaves the ground.
